AeroPM Intern Program 

AeroPM is an award-winning Defence Industry professional services consultancy currently operating within Defence, Government and the Private sector. Established in 2014, AeroPM has experienced continued growth and established a reputation of providing the highest quality people to solve complex problems and deliver Defence capability across Engineering, Program Management, Logistics, Test and Evaluation and Commercial disciplines.  


As boutique consultancy, we are seeking to engage Interns of the highest calibre. At AeroPM you can expect to be learn about Defence Industry, harness the necessary skills to become a Defence Professional Consultant, and be engaged on opportunities within significant and complex Defence projects or contribute to outcomes across a number of other Government Agencies. AeroPM are proud to be able to offer work within both Defence and Government from a number of perspectives, providing a great rounding and understanding of both the Government and Private sectors. 

AeroPM are always on the lookout for high-performing . The focus will be on you and your development - allowing you a choice, depending on fit and personality. A tailor-made experience is available for the right Intern who is passionate, highly motivated, driven and has excelled in their degree. 


As an InternAeroPM will ensure that you are exposed to a range of professional development activities and provide you mentorship towards gaining experience in your chosen field. You will have access to training and development opportunities with Interns on other programs in the public and private sectors, making your development extremely well rounded. Importantly, we will pair you with a dedicated AeroPM mentor for whom you will have unlimited access and support. 

Mandatory Eligibility Criteria

1. Australian Citizenship and the ability to obtain a Security Clearance

2. Be in your final year of undergraduate study, or in your final year of postgraduate study following completion of an undergraduate degree

3. On track to complete a relevant Engineering Degree with Honours 

Selection Process


Applications for our Inter program are always open. Candidates will be shortlisted and invited to an interview, which will be held in Canberra (or via video conference depending on candidate location). Successful candidates will then move to the written assessment phase to be completed remotely in a 2hr window. The successful candidate will be notified and a letter.
